Ranjha Ranjha Kerdi (Hum TV) MD Production
This beautiful drama has our hearts due to its bewitching dialogues and storyline. Imran Ashraf as Bhola in particular has been creating buzz by his phenomenal acting. The drama is based on Noori. She is an energetic, short tempered and a rebellious character who values nothing more than her self-respect. However, somewhere along the way, she meets her presumed ‘Ranjha’ and falls in love. Unfortunately, the love is not reciprocated and Noorie is left betrayed. While Noorie had enough fight and strength in herself to change her circumstances and was out to make her life, but this betrayal leaves her weak. Soon the character gives in to circumstances and is forced to marry Bhola. The love that is gradually developing between Bhola and Noori is pure and heartwarming. While we sympathize with Noorie’s situation, we also adore Bhola’s innocent character. The drama evokes our emotions and carries such well-crafted and wholesome characters, that one is easily glued to this one! The drama especially stands out due to its well written script and noteworthy acting!

Cheekh (ARY) Big Bang Entertainment
This powerful drama stars Saba Qamar as the protagonist. A crime thriller which had our hearts racing from the very beginning. Cheekh has been the talk of the town from a while now. The drama is about the protagonist’s struggle against her own brother-in-law who has callously murdered their friend Nayab. The protagonist Mannat would have to take on her entire family’s opposition if she choose to seek justice. She will even risk her own marital life and yet not surprisingly, Mannat will do as need be for delivering juice to her friend, Nayab. Bilal Abbas’s character, Wajih comes across as a vicious and an evil character who fears none. Taking him on will not be easy, which is what makes the pacing of the drama so great. The drama packs with it a dosage of suspense, thrill, grief and surely stirs us up with its every episode. There isnt a single dull moment and every episode is intriguing and powerful!

Kaisa Hai Naseeban (ARY) IDream Entertainment
Kaisa Hai Naseeban stars Muneeb Butt and Ramsha Khan in lead as Ahmed and Mariam. It unfolds a story of martial abuse. Mariam has been married off to Ahmed in Malaysia without proper investigation. Mariam is treated brutally in Malaysia where she is forced to earn a living for the household as well as take care of the house. In addition she is maltreated by her husband who tends to beat her and suspects her of having extra marital affairs. In the latest development, Mariam manages to go back to Pakistan and tell her parents of the awful life she is living in Malaysia. However Ahmed very cunningly manages to get her back. Once back, Ahmed tears off Mariam’s passport and it seems that Mariam is stuck in a life of slavery! The drama has been rating well and has created buzz with its realistic storyline.
All three dramas are doing really well and have something new to offer. With such great and unique storylines, talented actors and impactful scenes, all three drama are battling it out well and its a really tough competition! While Cheekh and Ranjha Ranjha Kerdi are truly something out of the world, Kaisa Hai Naseeban is battling them out with its buzz and ratings too! At first in Epk ratings is Ranjha Ranjha Kerdi, while Cheekh is second and third Kaisa Hai Naseeban. However the battle is on and we are yet to see which drama emerges as the successor of Koi Chand Rakh?
