This Friday we are going to see the release of Pakistan’s first superhero flick i.e Project Ghazi. The sci-fi film was initially slated for release back in July 2017 however it got delayed due to some technical reasons. Film is now going to hit the screens tomorrow and is being distributed by one of the biggest film distributors of Pakistan i.e. IMGC.

TRAILER OUT: PROJECT GHAZI, A PROMISING ENDEAVOR

Another new release hitting the screens tomorrow is an animated Hollywood film, Wonder Park. Among the Holdover releases we have three films which released last week i.e. SherDil, Laal Kabootar and Us.

It will be a close call for top position between SherDil and Project Ghazi. SherDil has been holding strongly over the weekdays and is heading towards its second weekend with a lot of potential of performing remarkably in the Second Week.

SHERDIL GETTING MASSIVE BUSINESS FROM RWP/ISB!

Project Ghazi has a big star cast which includes the superstar Humayun Saeed and Sheheryar Munawar. However, the film’s advance booking is very low till now. Nevertheless, the film is anticipated to have good footfall on the day of release due to the presence of big stars in the film.

Film has the advantage of runtime which is just 1 hour 35 minutes. A low runtime would grant the film, a huge number of shows. As per my prediction SherDil will still edge out Project Ghazi over the Weekend although the margin will be slim. Project Ghazi will probably lead in Lahore and in circuits of Punjab.

SHERDIL ROARS AT BOXOFFICE DESPITE NEGATIVE REVIEWS

The third spot will be secured by Laal Kabootar. This is a very important week for Laal Kabootar which has somehow sustained over the weekdays but its hold is on the lower levels. Film has decent amount of shows in week two and it will need to collect better in Week two compared to first Week in order to sustain.

LAAL KABOOTAR SUSTAINS AT BOXOFFICE ON WEDNESDAY

Horror thriller Us which is looking to wrap first Week around 40 lacs will be battling with Wonder Park for the fourth position.
