30 January Wednesday 2019 dramas
It was a very emotional few episodes this Wednesday on the three dramas that air on this day. Tawaan, Qaid and Kaisa Hai Naseeban are pretty close in competition with each other and are gradually improving their plotline and production with each episode. And they have really amped up the quality these last few episodes so it really will be hard to decide which drama is the best from among these.
Tawaan (Hum Tv)
Maryam finally gets tired of the lies and deceit of Shehroze
and firmly decides that she will leave him. The majority of the episode
revolved around Shehroze coming to terms with this eventuality and reminiscing
of the past times they spent together. It seems as if Shehroze is finally
starting to truly regret how he had treated Maryam, and we were happy to see
Maryam make a stand for herself and get out of this one-sided, toxic marriage.
What happens next is yet to be revealed but we hope Shehroze sees the error of
his ways and changes. We thought this episode of Tawaan was particularly good
as the writing was well-paced; it is nice to see the development of a character
happen slowly and not something out of the blue. The main characters are all
well-developed and have their own distinct personalities so it’s genuinely nice
to see something so different.
Qaid (Geo Tv) Showcase Productions
Reham finds herself facing a lot of difficulties in the new,
hostile house she is to become a part of. While Ashir makes sure Reham’s life
is a living hell and shows no mercy, his oldest aunt is the only member of the
house who seems to have even a hint of mercy for Reham. With her too, it isn’t
just something that comes out of nowhere; the aunt is cold and distant but as
she explains to her niece, a human is a human, after all. It was sad to see the
way Ashir’s family is so against Reham without knowing the truth behind their
youngest son’s death, but the audience can sympathize with the mother’s pain
and anguish as well. Hence, this hurt is well-portrayed in the drama and the
character dynamics reflect that perfectly as well.
Kaisa Hai Naseeban (ARY) IDream Productions
The star of the day, Kaisa Hai Naseeban, has suddenly become
our new favorite contender for the best drama on air! Mariam is embroiled in
the financial troubles of her husband’s family while still isolated from
Pakistan and her family there. Ahmed seems to be digging himself a deeper grave
as he tries to wiggle out of his own mistakes through Mariam. The drama has
become increasingly intriguing and enjoyable to watch with each episode, with
characters that are mysterious and multifaceted. And the entire situation is so
scary because it really could happen to any one of us. Regardless to say, Kaisa
Hai Naseeban is a wonderful watch!
Kaisa Hai Naseeban wins this one! It has a gripping plot,
very talented actors and a high production level. The other two dramas do
follow close behind and it was a tough competition. It still remains to be seen
if Kaisa Hai Naseeban will be able to maintain this position as the other two
dramas are tough competition.
