The Fast and Furious spin off Hobbs and Shaw released its trailer yesterday and it is electrifying with some subtle comedy punches! After teasing fans with numerous still for quite some time now, The Rock finally announced the release date of the trailer in a twitter post. The trailer has garnered a lot of excitement and this seems to be one of the biggest movie of the year.

We will see Luke Hobbs(The Rock) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) team up rather reluctantly to beat a super human. The continuous banter between the two is fun to watch throughout the trailer.

The handsome Idris Elba has taken on the villainous role as Brixton, who has superpowers, He is super strong and apparently bulletproof. Although the fast cars are missing the trailer is still action packed. The film also stars Vanessa Kirby  as an MI6 agent who calls on help to take down Brixton.

The film does not have any of the Fast and Furious gang especially the absence of Vin Diesel is felt which is actually sad. However the story of this spin off seems to have added the element of Sci-Fi in form of Idris Elba. The movie seems to offers something different so it will be interesting to watch Hobbs and Shaw create a niche of its own.

Fast and Furious movies have always had a huge draw in Pakistan as they are action packed, so even masses enjoy these movies. Directed by
David Leitch and written by long term Fast and Furious writer Chris Morgan the film is slated to release on 2 August 2019.
