We are back with updates on the festival. Harsh Narayan, the initiator of this festival informed us that the dates of this festival were postponed. This festival will now commence on  7th Jan to 13th Jan in New Delhi.

The festival included several Pakistani films. Harsh Narayan expressed his wish for also screening Humayun Saeed’s Punjab nahi jaungi and Jawani phir nahi ani. However, Harsh Narayan was unable to reach out to the makers of these films.

Epk then contacted Humayun Saeed and informed him about this. Humayun Saeed who was previously unaware of the film festival said that he was grateful that Epk reached out and also expressed his happiness upon his films being selected for the festival.

He added, that he wishes his films will receive a good response as they did in China film festival. Punjab nahe jaungi  was screened and won an award in China.

He said, “At this festival, even if the film doesn’t win, our goal is that people come out to watch them.”

With the help of Epk, Punjab nahi jaungi and JPNA will now also be screening at the festival. Humayun Saeed will be attending the festival along with the director Nadeem Baig and the head of the film, Irfan Malik.
