Two of the biggest drama serials are all set to clash after Eid-ul-Fitr. Nadeem Baig’s Mere Pass Tum Ho and Haseeb Hassan’s Alif are two very eagerly awaited projects which are anticipated to wreck a havoc at drama ratings. Both the projects have a stellar cast and a hugely talented team behind, all of whom bring with them their proven expertise.
Mere Pass Tum Ho stars Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui in pivotal roles while Alif also has a star cast of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sajal Aly, Ahsan Khan and Kubra Khan. Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humayun Saeed are undoubtedly two of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry right now however both the stars have been seen more on the silver screens lately.
The Boxffice ruler Humayun Saeed set the boxoffice on fire with the highest grossing films of Pakistan under his belt. The JPNA franchise honored Humayun with a brilliant track record at the boxoffice. While the heartthrob Hamza Ali Abbasi took the boxoffice by storm with Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Waar.
Last year both the stars locked horns on Eid ul Azha as Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 and Parwaaz Hai Junoon released on the same date. However this year, both the stars will be facing off on TV screens as their dramas will be inaugurating after Eid-ul-Fitr.
Alif will go on air on Geo Entertainment whereas Mere Pass Tum Ho will go on air on ARY Digital.
Humayun Saeed carries a huge legacy on television with super hit dramas like Kangan, Mehndi, Chandni Raatain, Inteha and many others airing on PTV, to his credits. He was last seen in Dil Lagi which was a massive hit and it was also helmed by the ace director Nadeem Baig who is now directing Mere Pass Tum Ho.
Whereas Hamza Ali Abbasi’s Pyaray Afzal still stands as one of the biggest hits in recent times. Abbasi was last seen in the drama serial Mann Mayal which was again directed by Haseeb Hassan who is now directing Alif too. Mann Mayal emerged a mega success and this actor-director duo is anticipated to reap similar results with Alif.
Both the actors have an ardent following and people are most eager to see them! This clash is bound to be vicious as anticipation for both the dramas is at fever pitch! Whenever these two highly adored stars come on TV screens, the ratings have gone sky high while social media is set ablaze with commotion.
As per insiders, both the dramas have been produced on a big scale and both the dramas have a larger than life story.
