In an exclusive chat with Epk the illustrious writer picked out his top 5 favorite movies of all time. Here are the ones he picked out:

1.Khamosh Raho

Khamosh Raho is an Urdu film released in 2011. It was directed by Altaf Hussain. It stars Shaan Shahid and Juggan Kazim in lead roles.

2.Ik Gunah Aur Sahe

The film starred Mohammed Ali, Darpan, Sabiha Khanum, written by Agha Hassan Imtisal  and directed by Hasan Tariq.The film was released in 1975.

3. Insaniyat Kay Dushman

The film starred Sultan Rahi, Anjuman, Neeli and Abid Ali. 1990 Pakistani action film was directed by Hasnain and produced by Tariq Butt.

4.Diya Aur Toofan

Released in 1969, the film was about a crazy doctor and the man who falls in love with his daughter.  The Urdu romantic film starred Rangeela, Sultan Rahi, Naghma,Nadeem Baig.Directed and produced by Rangeela, whereas the screenplay was by Syed Noor.


The 1966 film Badnaam was adapted from Saadat Hasan Manto’s short story Jhumkay by screenwriter Riaz Shahid. The film was directed and produced by Iqbal Shehzad, in his debut as a film director. The film starred
Allauddin, Nabeela, Neelo, Ejaz Durrani, Diljeet Mirza, Hamid Wain, Rangeela, Zumurrud.
