The family has caught itself in a bit of a pickle and the story is getting spicy!
The light hearted comedy and simplicity of narrative is something that allows audiences to connect with the characters at a human level. Although the entire episode is mostly shot within the house but the director takes us through the entire house keeping us entertained.
Arsal and Jiya’s fight took another turn . Arsal takes the matter to the elders who rule in Arsal’s favor. Moreover everyone keeps pressuring her to respect him which further annoys her. Even so the two do share some sweet moments dialing down the bickering.
The pace of the drama is consistent, like the previous episode the scenes are well timed. There is a lot of attention to detail by including sweet small moments in the drama making it more relatable.
The second episode took the story forward and shifted focus from the protagonists to an unwanted guest who has a rather scandalous history with Nazakat.
Pari (Arjumand Rahim) has arrived along with her son Meethu, meanwhile Nazakat is palpitating over the thought of her coming. Her arrival has created chaos. Her big mouth blurts whatever unpleasant comment she likes. Bi Jan in particular is unhappy with her arrival and wants her out of the house.
It will be interesting to see how every one convinces Bi Jan that Pari should stay for Walima, and what new problems she will create for the family during her visit. We can sense some mischief coming our way and we are ready for it.
The drama keeps the audience engaged as the story is spread out over all the characters of the serial offering a good variety and quality entertainment . It is very hard to choose which character was the best amongst all in the episode as they all bring in their own flavor to the story.
