Tom Holland starrer had seen midweek release on Tuesday in North America and the film opened with record $ 39.25m on Tuesday. The film then held exceedingly well on 4th of July as first three days boxoffice closed with over $ 91m.
Also starring Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, Spider-Man: Far From Home has now contributed over $ 93m during Friday to Sunday period pushing its six days long weekend to a thumping $ 185m. This is the highest six days gross for any film releasing on Tuesday in North America.
Spider-Man: Far From Home has cruised past the prequel Homecoming’s whole first week numbers in the opening Weekend alone. Spider-Man: Far From Home is also getting very positive reviews from both critics and cinegoers. IMDB rating of the film stands at 8.1 whereas Rotten Tomatoes score stands at a staggering 92%. Spider-Man: Far From Home received a rating of “A” from opening day audiences as per Cinemascore.
