Sony’s Spider-Man: Far From Home is doing exceedingly well at the domestic boxoffice. The film had seen a midweek release on Tuesday and it registered the biggest opening Tuesday of all time with $ 39.25m. Spider-Man: Far From Home then did really well on the following days as three days business closed with $ 91+m.
The film has now fetched estimated $ 32.5m on Friday as four days aggregate tops $ 123m. The film is heading towards a hefty $ 180+m six day long opening weekend. This figure is more than the whole opening Week of Spider-Man: Homecoming which had roped in $ 163m in its opening week of seven days.
If the film cruises past $ 192m mark then it will be the biggest opening Week for a Spider-Man film beating $ 192m opening week of Spider-Man 2 released back in 2004. Spider-Man: Far From Home is receiving rave reviews from critics with 92% score at Rotten Tomatoes.
