The beautiful Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in an item song in Total Dhamaal! Total Dhamaal, the comedy film of this year seems to have all its ingredients in the right proportions. The film is laden with comedy, a star studded cast, a lot of fun, adventure and glamour!
The film stars the iconic duo of Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor who will be sharing a screen after decades! The dapper Ajay Devgn will also be seen in a pivotal role alongside the much loved and comical actors Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Johnny Lever and others.
Sonakshi Sinha is reported doing an item song in the film, which will be a remake of a hit yesteryear song Mungda. The song featured the legendary Helen and so Sonakshi Sinha surely has big shoes to fill!
Ajay Devgn and others shared the news of the song’s release which is due tomorrow!
Reportedly, Sonakshi Sinha has clarified that there is no comparison between her and the legendary Helen as the veteran dancing queen can not be matched! In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, she said to even try and imitate the iconic actress will be foolish as nobody can match her.
She said, “Helen aunty’s grace and charm are unmatched and it would be foolish to even try to copy her. Our version is a dance number with spruced-up music, lots of choreography and it’s nothing like the original song.”
The actress clarified that the remake of the song has completely different beats and the makers have come up with different choreography for the song. While the song is the same, however Sonakshi will be dancing her own moves. Sonakshi Sinha will feature alongside Ajay Devgn in this song. The two will surely look good together!
Talking about sharing the screen with Ajay Devgn in the song, Sonakshi said, “Since this was a dance number, I got the chance to pull Ajay’s leg as he hates dancing but it is always a pleasure working with him”
Let’s not forget the film also features another dancing queen Madhuri Dixit. The film is bound to have the right does of glamour and some bewitching moves! The film will release on 22nd February in Pakistan!
