Superstar Shahrukh Khan has long been the heartthrob of millions across borders. He has long enjoyed an illustrious career and has imprinted his mark upon countless by giving many hits. The actor has been dubbed as the king of Bollywood and romance. Not only is he a raving success in India but he also enjoys utmost international fame.

He has been a force to be reckoned with for over decades now, however the actor is currently going through a rough patch in his career. For a first time in years, Shah Rukh Khan has no film in top 10 all time grossers in his domestic market, India.

There was a time when Srk secured all top ten positions in the UK. Even today, Shahrukh’s My Name Is Khan and Kabhi Khusi Kabhie Gham are in top 5 all time grossers in UK. Among top 10 in the Uk, five positions still belong to Shah Rukh Khan.

Although Shahrukh Khan still has a decent hold in the Uk, he is losing his grip in Pakistan. Shah Rukh Khan has always dominated the boxoffice in Pakistan. His films My Name is Khan and Don 2 were the highest grossers of all time at the time of their releases.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan was first film to hit the 1 crore mark in a single day in Pakistan whereas Chennai Express was a mega blockbuster in its time too. However, for the first time in an immensely successful career, Shahrukh Khan films are struggling in Pakistan. His recent films including Zero and Jab Harry Met Sejal could not rake in success in Pakistan.

Dilwale which released four years ago is still the highest grossing film of King Khan here and it is the only film of Shah Rukh which hit the 20 crore mark in Pakistan.

However, it appears that Shahrukh Khan is indeed at a very troublesome point in his career as for the first time in a very long time, there is only one Shahrukh Khan film in Pakistan’s top ten Bollywood films. King Khan used to rule this list with ease.

In contrast Salman Khan has the most number of films in Top 10 highest grossers list of Pakistan. Salman Khan has Sultan, Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Had his film Tubelight and Tiger Zinda Hai released in Pakistan, Salman Khan would have run riot on this list.

Moreover the list has two Amir Khan starrer i.e. Doom 3 and PK while Tiger Shroff has one and Ranveer Singh has two films. Both Ranveer Kapoor’s films were blockbusters released in 2018. Ranbir Kapoor tops the chart with Sanju which is the highest grossing Hindi film in Pakistan.
