Director/actor Woody Allen is among many who have been labelled under Times Up and MeToo movement. Ever since allegations by Dylan Farrow on his father and Hollywood’s attention to the movement, actors like Michael Caine, Timothée Chalamet and Greta Gerwig, expressed their regret having worked with Woody Allen.
While talking to Hollywood Reporter, Scarlett Johansson said, “I love Woddy .I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.”
Talking about the allegations she said, “I see Woody whenever I can, and I have had a lot of conversations with him about it. I have been very direct with him, and he’s very direct with me. He maintains his innocence, and I believe him.”
Woody Allen has directed Scarlett in movies like “Match Point,” “Scoop” and “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.” The actress and expressed comfort working with the director again as well.This comes off an extremely controversial statement coming form the actress who has been an early supporter of the movement. Her statement may come off as a disappointment for her fans.
Scarlett will be seen in Marriage Story as well as Marvel’s Black Widow movies.
