Released three years ago, Salman Khan starrer still holds the opening Week records for Hind films in Pakistan. The week one numbers alone are more than the lifetime collections of blockbusters films. Sultan was the last Salman Khan film to have full fledged release in Pakistan. The film had opened midweek on Wednesday as Eid-ul-Fitr had fallen on Wednesday in 2016. Sultan broke the opening day record with leaps and bounds by becoming first film to hit PKR 30 million mark on day one. Furthermore, the film breached the 40 million mark on day two becoming the first film in the history to clock over 40 million in a single. Till date only Avengers: Endgame has managed to collect more than 40 million in a single day.
Salman Khan starrer then went on to become first film to hit 100 million mark in first three days. The film also became the first film to hit 200 million mark in opening Week and till date only 2 other films have managed to hit 200 million in first Week i.e. Avengers Endgame and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2. The film had nine days extended Week of around PKR 237 million. First seven days had concluded at a staggering PKR 212 million.
