Ranjha Ranjha Kardi

Once again, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi shows how well it has mastered the timing of its story! This episode was the perfect blend of mystery and buildup and the timing of everything was perfect, in my opinion. Noori finds out she is pregnant with Bhola’s child right as she is planning to run away with Sahir, and Fehmida finds out about Noori’s past as well. These two major plotlines were covered really well and did offer more insight into the characters themselves, although Bhola was not focused on as much as he should have been focused on in this episode.

Yaariyan Ep 3 & 4: Impeccable Direction & Emotional Performances!

Imran Ashraf as Bhola

The pregnancy could not have come at a more unfortunate time for Noori, and that makes it all the more well-timed in terms of story-writing. Now that Noori has a solid connection to Bhola, her choice to leave him will be even more confusing and hard. However, the way Noori’s behavior is being depicted, it seems that she doesn’t really care much about Bhola anyway.

With breathtaking acting & direction, Cheekh emerges as a winner

This  sudden shift is kind of confusing to watch since we spent so many episodes watching Noori develop sympathy for Bhola and all of a sudden it all goes away for the sake of Sahir. That is kind of hard to believe and disappointing as well. But Noori and Komal’s conversation did hint at some feelings that still remain in Noori’s heart. Nevertheless, the pregnancy news is forming another hurdle to Noori’s plan of escaping.

Iqra Aziz as Noori

Fehmida’s acceptance of Noori’s past was one of the nicer aspects of this episode and showed a developed change in Fehmida as well, a character that I didn’t really expect this from. It seems her motherly affection for Bhola has been extended to Noori as well which is bittersweet to see since Noori has other hidden intentions as well.

Asma Abbas did utter justice to Fehmida’s character and made a supporting character quite memorable. As far as Iqra Aziz is concerned, she has proven herself an impressive and versatile actress with great range and skill. I was let down by how little Bhola appeared this episode since Imran Ashraf’s unique style of acting is the biggest highlight of this drama, but I do hope they show more of him next episode, at least.

Ranjha Ranjha Kardi Ep 25: Noori’s betrayal to Bhola is heartbreaking

From the acting to the background track to the sets…Ranjha Ranjha Kardi ticks all the boxes! However, as far as the story’s progression is going, there are hints of something dark to come. I personally am really excited for more shocking developments in the future because it really has made the drama unique in its own right. The dialogues are well thought out and none of the writing is lazy at any point. Every line that the characters say carry some meaning or weight and that is the biggest positive point of the drama.

Syed Jibran as Sahir

This episode showed that Noori really isn’t afraid of anything, not even leaving the father of her unborn child, to get what she wants. Sahir obviously is manipulating her naivety but will Noori ever end up seeing the truth about this? Most of all, we are curious to see what Bhola’s future will be? And if he will ever recover from his affliction. All these questions will hopefully be answered next episode!
