Conflicts are getting longer for Shafaq (Kiran Haque), Noor Jahan Begum (Bushra Ansari), Anwar Ali (Behroze Sabzwari), and the couple also. Shafaq is so stressed and having misunderstandings that she may lose her cousin and friend, Tehreem (Sarwat Gillani). Anwar Ali, secretly, wants to acquire naulakha and for this purpose, he may go to any length. That’s why he did not hesitate to bring the proposal of a criminal for Shafaq. However, Akbar Ali (Syed Arjumand Azhar) not only exposed his plan but also took a class of him.

Noor Jahan Begum still has the desire to marry Shafaq with Zain Ali (Mirza Zain Baig). Akbar Ali and Tehreem both are in the best favor of Shafaq. Their caring attitude and thinking, about marrying her with a suitable person, are very pleasing to see. Tehreem feels guilty when she sees the heartbroken Shafaq. Her dialogues were good in the scenes where she was consoling Shafaq and convincing her to marry the brother of her friend. She is loving and very kind for Shafaq but due to the negative behavior and misinterpretations by both the mother and daughter, her care and love is going to end soon.

Anwar Ali is such a materialistic person that he is devising plans to remove Shafaq from the scene by one way or the other. After her marriage, Noor Jahan Begum will have no justification for claiming naulakha or a desire of it. After that, Anwar Ali will be able to create a scheme for getting naulakha back from Mumtaz (Gul-e-Rana).

All the quandary going on in the story is only due to the piece of jewel, naulakha. Conspiracies, revenge, jealousy, materialism, the lust of wealth and financial status – these are the foundations on which the story of Naulakha is constructed. The story is advancing with a good tempo. We never felt dullness or slowness in any episode so far. Long to close and close to long cutting was also good. The editing team deserves credit for it.

Camera work has been very good and eye-catching especially during the scenes of hawaili. It is a worth-watching place and the DOP along with his team has exposed it beautifully. The walls are decorated with paintings and photos of family members. Props like antiques add to the look of hawaili.

The only way out to avoid the negative behaviors of family members is that Zain and Tehreem must move to the city as soon as possible. Only this way, they will be able to live a peaceful marital life. Let’s hope, the couple has some relief and peace in their life.
