Finally Danish gets his life together in last night’s very enjoyable episode of Mere Paas Tum Ho! It’s become clear why this drama is so trendy these days and a lot of credit goes to the talented and attractive cast.
This episode showed Danish (Humayun Saeed) start to plan his revenge on Shahwaar (Adnan Siddique) and Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) as he sells his apartment and invests that money in Shahwaar’s company stocks. Mehwish is still hell-bent on trying to meet her son Roomi but continues to face difficulties. Shahwaar starts to face issues with his business, and still deflects the topic of marriage with Mehwish.
Overall, the episode was a thrilling ride, with powerful performances by each actor! And finally every character starts to get what they deserve!
My top favorite things about this episode was definitely the way Danish’s character changes from that sad, depressed man from previous episodes to this confident and fearless person who no longer is stuck on his ex-wife. The writer did a great job with the way his character development takes place steadily, and actually does so over time instead of being thrust onto the viewers with no explanation whatsoever.
The most important thing is that Danish, although aiming to take revenge on both Mehwish and Shahwaar, doesn’t become a horrible person and still maintains his moral compass. Compared to how a lot of other dramas steer stories like these, Mere Paas Tum Ho is giving us a much needed breath of fresh air!
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar deserves all the due credit for the way he has devised a story that is both complex and understandable at the same time. At no point do you feel like you can’t keep up with it, but last night’s episode was constructed in such a way that it showed how the writer is so capable of weaving individual components together for an electrifying experience.
The direction is top-notch and shows that every aspect of production was dealt with the same concern as the writing. The main actors have great dynamics with each other: Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddique really transferred the tension between their characters on-screen and delivered the best in each scene. And of course, Humayun Saeed has the greatest ability to make each character his very own!
It seems as each member of the production team to the actors have worked hard and it shows in the final product! They have delivered a thoroughly enjoyable experience that no doubt will win awards this season, and rightfully so. We’re keeping our eyes peeled for the rest of the episodes to find out how Danish’s plan works out, and if Mehwish ever succeeds in getting her son back. Do let us know what you thought of this episode!
