Martin Scorsese’s mega opus The Irishman is creating huge noise all over Hollywood. Ever since the film was announced, every film lover is waiting for this project to release. Having dreamy combination of Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci in the lead, “The Irishman” is receiving unimaginable reviews from critics.
The Irishman’s trailers alone were enough to guarantee a masterpiece on its way but many eyebrows were raised on a hefty 210 minutes length however with the reviews coming in, it looks like Martin Scorsese has kept his promise. Scorsese goes down as one of the biggest directors of Hollywood. His every film draws the status of cult classic for movie goers. The Irishman has even bigger cast and the excitement is sky high.
Now if we take a look at reviews then “The Irishman” has currently 92 score at metacritic which is an mind blowing score. As a comparison, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood had 83 score whereas Brad Pitt’s Ad Astra had 80 score and 2019’s summer blockbuster Toy Story 4 had a score of 84.
If we take a look at the Rotten Tomatoes then “The Irsihman” carries the score of 100% from the review of 59 critics and all the reviews are positive. This is better than any major film released earlier this year. The film will be getting a limited theatrical release next month along with release at Netflix.
Going by the reviews, critics are terming this as Scorsese best work after “Good Fellas” it looks like Martin Scorsese has lived upto his name and the film will be one of the best films of the year.
