Koi Chand Rakh has become one of our must watch drama and we eagerly look forward to it every Thursday. This drama which initially looked like a clichéd love story has so much more to offer. From the innocent Rabail (Ayeza Khan) to the shallow Zain (Imran Abbas) to the self-centered Nishal (Areeba Habib), every character is delivering a good performance.
In this week’s episode, Zia in order to take revenge from Zain, absconds from his engagement with Sobia (Zain’s sister) and as per the norm Rabail is blamed by her in-laws for the whole fiasco.
On the other hand, Umair (Muneeb Butt), after getting to know about Nishal’s affair with Zain confronts her. Nishal tells him to mind her own business and in turn Umair vows that he will not let anyone ruin Rabi Ji’s life . Umair’s character has been apltly built by writer Maha Malik from a cheerful lad to a forlorn lover, one who has nothing more to lose, and it has been played beautifully by Muneeb. His performance is heart wrenching and he makes us feel his pain.
The underdog Areeba Habib, is surely making us feel her on screen presence as we absolutely hate her character Nishal for her selfishness and wickedness. As the saying goes, “Everything is fair in love and war,” Nishal is leaving no stone unturned to mess up Rabail’s life. On one end she is not only empoisoning her parents against Rabail but also Zain. She is shamelessly playing her victim card in front of everyone and is portraying Rabail as the actual villain.
This week Rabail’s character did not have much to offer except for moping at her miserable condition which is worsening every passing day since no one is happy with her. Finally, a relief comes to her in the form of the news that she is expecting. How will Zain and Nishal react to this news? Will there ever be peace in Rabail’s life? We can’t wait to tune in to ARY Digital next week.
