Despite knowing that his father is a heart patient and should be kept away from stress, Zain (Imran Abbas) continues to make him upset first by saying that he will divorce Rabail (Aiza Khan) and even if he doesn’t do that, he will continue to meet Nishaal (Areeba Habeeb). This stresses Ibrar Sahab (Tanveer Jamal) so much that he faces another heart attack and dies this time. Unfortunately, a death few days after a marriage inclines Rabail’s in-laws to think that she has not turned out to be lucky for them, thus creating the situation even more problematic for Rabail who is already facing a lot. The other important events in this episode were Umair’s (Muneeb Butt) deteriorating health as a result of excessive smoking, drinking and depression and Zia’s growing genuine love for Nishaal, who has now grown brave enough to come at her place and meet her. But he has no idea that he is only being used.

The acting, editing, and direction were perfect in the episode as always. As far as the story is concerned, it has grown quite depressing, for no event falls in favor of Rabail and this makes the viewers sympathize with her. Her father-in-law was her only support who is now no more and Rabail will have to bear the attitudes of  Zain who made a promise not to divorce Rabail but is not in love with her, and of his mother who now considers her a sign of bad luck.

The episode told us that how wealth and a reasonable lifestyle do not always guarantee good thoughts and a well-educated mindset. Apparently, an upper-class, rich family who is educated as well, Rabil’s in-laws still believe in the ideas of daughters-in-law being the carrier of good or bad luck.

Similarly, Rabil’s aunt and Nishaal also present a very delicate lifestyle but when it comes to their thoughts, they also turn out to be outdated; blaming an innocent girl for the destruction of their son but not asking him to abandon drinking and going to the extent of cursing Rabail.

Rabail has nowhere to go now. Her mamoo does not like her presence in his house now, for he thinks that his son’s condition gets aggravated at seeing her sight and as a married woman, it does not seem appropriate that she may visit a house where a young guy lives. On the other hand, her husband hates her and her in-laws have grown against her. So, Rabail becomes the main character with all the incidents revolving around her.

Muneeb Butt’s performance was breathtaking when he was drunk, his performance was quite realistic. The episode ended on Umair’s mouth bleeding and Umair almost fainting, leaving the viewers with an apprehension that another bad event may occur in the next episode.
