“Ghar Titli Ka Par” is a GEO TV serial written by Samra Bukhari and directed by Mohsin Talat. It stars Ali Ansari, Aiman Khan, Sanam Chaudhry and Shehzad Sheikh in the leading roles.
The latest episode of the serial showed how one’s bad actions result in rejection and negligence from everywhere. Anji’s (Sanam Chaudhry) mother is not ready to accept her anymore and clearly tells her that she does not need to meet her. On the other hand, Aftaab (Ali Ansari) decides to divorce Anji and seems to grow firm in his decision with every passing moment. Hassaan (Arslan Raja) is adamant in his decision of not getting married to anyone, but brings flowers for Shafaq (Aiman Khan), suggesting that he loves her but gaining nothing in return except for a friendly advice to get married to someone.
The most interesting incident of the episode was when Anji, after gaining sympathies from Azar (Shehzad Sheikh) once again, asks him to take her out on lunch and when he does so, comes across her old lover working as a waiter in the restaurant. He recognizes her immediately and exposes her in front of everyone as a fraudulent and a flirtatious girl. For the time being, Azar’s views regarding Anji change and he realizes his mistake, but is again tricked by Anji into believing false stories and he changes his mind once again.
This provided an insight into the character of Azar, telling how his personality is very weak with no views and opinions of its own, but easily swept away by other people’s beliefs. He turns out to be a whimsical character whose thoughts change every minute based on what people tell him to do.
While the restaurant scene created quite a stir and for once, made us think that the drama is coming to an end for Anji has been exposed, another turn has taken place by Anji succeeding once again in convincing Azar to rethink about his relation with Shafaq.
The message learnt from this episode was that quarrels between parents can badly affect children, for when Aftab says that he will be divorcing Anji, he is asked by his son what “divorce” means. The other thing to be observed was how manipulative and clever people like Anji have no sense of regret and even when they are exposed, they have the wickedness to turn things in their favour.
