First episode of Final Season of Game Of Thrones aired earlier today. Game of Thrones is easily one of the most popular TV series ever. Starring Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage in lead roles, GOT enjoys massive fan following worldwide. Series has already been a non stop trending topic on social media for last 24 hours.
First Episode was directed by David Nutter. He had directed six episodes of Game Of Thrones before this including ‘The Rains Of Castamere”. Rains of Castamere is probably the most popular and arguably the best episode of Game of Thrones till date.
In this first episode David Nutter has done pretty good job. The Episode has decent pacing, it could have been better. But looking at the magnitude of the intensity and emotions in every scene of the episode, the pacing was pretty good.
All the character shone in the episode. Jon Snow stood tall with his performance whereas Daenerys Targaryen looked charming like always. All the other characters looked calm. There were some major revelations involving high end emotions which just stole our heartbeat.
Dialogues have always been the major driving force of Game of Thrones. This episode had its fair share of punch lines but as said earlier its the emotions which are the key of this Episode. David Nutter has always been able to bring out emotions in best possible way in Game Of Thrones and here in this Episode he has been spot on with emotions. Episode ends with viewers demanding for more.
Overall its a pretty decent start to the finale but considering just six episodes long, fans are waiting for some big things to happen in coming episodes.
Man Of The Episode:-
This Episode completely belongs to Samwell Tarly played by John Bradley. Samwell might not be as popular as other characters in the series but his performance and expressions in this episode just stole the thunder of whole Episode.
