Sarmad Khoosat is hatching a new project, a Punjabi film. The final title of this film is called “Zindagi Tamasha” The project as the name suggests is intense. We have exclusive news that he bought rights of the well-known song “Zindagi Tamsha Bani” sang by Afshan Begum. The iconic song was one of the finest songs of Afshan Begum which was sung for the film “Naukar wohti da” This film was one of the greatest hits of Munawar Zarif as a lead actor.

The legendary film of 1974 “Naukar wohti da” had a cult like following at its time. The much acclaimed film later saw a remake in India with the name of “Noukar Biwi Ka”. Previously, Sarmad Khoosat announced two of his upcoming films on Epk.

While the second film will see operations in March and has a stellar cast which we will be updating you about soon, the Punjabi Film Zindagi Tamasha has wrapped up its shooting!

Sarmad also revealed to Pakistani Cinema, that model turned actress Eman Suleman, would be playing the lead in his film, alongside veteran television actress Samia Mumtaz.

The film will be the first film to release under the banner of “Khoosat Films.” It also stars Arif Hasan & Ali Kureishi in pivotal roles.

Sarmad Khoosat has been seen in old Lahore and according to media, Sarmad has said “Lahore will play as a character in this film, unlike a backdrop in earlier released films”

The film has been produced by Sarmad’s sister Kanwal Khoosat herself. The screenplay is by newcomer Nirmal Bano from NCA. The band “Sakin” will be giving the film’s music and making its debut into films.

The release date is yet to be announced.
