Ace writer and director Khalil ul Rehman Qamar is all geared up for the release of his upcoming directorial debut film Kaaf Kangana. The film’s trailer was released on Eid ul Fitr. The director had announced that the film will be releasing on Eid ul Azha, which meant it would clash with Mahira Khan’s Superstar, Hareem Farooq’s Heer Maan Ja and Maya Ali’s Parey Hut Love.
The latest on the film is that the release date has been changed to 25 October 2019. We reached out to the director to find out the reason for the delay. He told exclusively to Epk that :
“The film has been delayed as I wanted to release the film internationally along with domestic release. Due to some issues there will be a delay in international release. This is why we will be releasing the film in October now.”
The delay may disappoint a few fans, however it will be good for the films, as the release flow will be maintained instead of creating a cluster on Eid. Last year Donkey King was released in October and the film did exceptional at the box office despite being a non-holiday release. Kaaf Kangana can set an example this time around.
