Today marks the day when an Indian fighter jet was shot down by Pakistan’s Air force. The captured IAF pilot, Abhinandan Varthaman was later handed over to India as a peace gesture. This day has been termed as a surprise day for India and it is widely being celebrated!
Ehd E Wafa has released their awaited finale today, when people are already overwhelmed with nationalism. The trailer opens with the cameo of the superstar Humayun Saeed as an army officer. He confronts an Indian Wing Commander who seems to be representing Abhinandan. The entire scene is highly emotional with good comic timing. It is well edited and crisp as well!
Humayun Saeed is currently at the pinnacle of his stardom due to the mega success of his recent projects. We reached out to Humayun Saeed and inquired why he chose to do a cameo role at a time when his popularity demands that he be seen in lead roles.
Humayun Saeed revealed that he was approached by the DG ISPR himself for a cameo in the finale, which was an honour for him. He also questioned who would not want to play an army officer? He explained that it was such a good role that he was happy to play it.
The highlight of Ehd E Wafa’s trailer is certainly its editing. The trailer has a filmy touch and it shows that a lot of effort has been put into it, which is something Mere Paas Tum Ho’s finale lacked.
The trailer tugs at our heartstrings as it recaps the adored story-line of the drama and gives us a glimpse of our favorite characters essayed by the hugely adored star cast of the drama including eminent names such as Ahad Raza Mir, Osman Khalid Butt, Alizeh Shah, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Vaneeza Ahmad, Zara Noor Abbas and Wahaj Ali amongst others.
We are certainly glad that the team of Ehd E Wafa has neatly edited the trailer in order to cater to the cinema going audiences and the credit surely goes to the talented director of the drama, Saife Hassan. The trailer is crisp and leaves a lasting emotional impact!
