While the previous week didn’t see any major new release, this weekend will be welcoming numerous new ones! This Friday three new movies are coming our way. There are some being carried over. We pick out the ones that seem promising and are worth your time!
Alita Battle Angel
ASci-fi action filmtakes you through an epic adventure of a women who wakes up with no memory of her past. Alita is a robot with extremely high end technology. She tries to figure out who she is and reconnect with her past. Directed by Robert Rodriguez and produced by James Cameron this film seem to provide some out of the box thrilling screenplay.
If you are a Sci-fi fan then this movie is a definitely a must watch. This movie could be a strong contender after a very long line of disappointing releases this year.

The Lego Movie 2 the Second Part
This weekend has something special for the little ones as well. The sequel of Lego The movie bring back Emmet and Lucy who have been living the good life for five years until they are faced with a huge new threat: Lego Duplo invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.
The battle to defeat the invaders and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a galaxy filled with fantastic planets, strange characters and catchy new songs.
This movie a total entertainer for children and a good activity for the weekend! The movie is 1 hour 36 minutes and has been rated U.

Besides the two Hollywood releases there is a Bollywood horror movie releasing as well starring the gorgeous Nargis Fakhri. The film is about a couple who start living is a mansion away from the hustle bustle of the city only to find out that the place is haunted!
If you love horror film and have been feeling a void this movie could be checked out. The run time of the film is 2 hours 11 minutes and is rated U.

The Kangana Ranut starrer period film is a biopic of Queen of Jhansi. The film was released last week and has taken off with a decent start atbox office in Pakistan.This is a female-centric film, so if you are looking for some drama, history and a story about empowered women this is a good watch. The run time of the movie is 150 mins and it has been rated G ( suitable for all ages).

Dreamworks is back with the last installment of How to train your Dragon. If you looking to take your children out for some movie then this is definitely a good option. The film has taken off with a good start in terms of box office as well. The run time of the movie is 104 mins and it has been rated G( suitable for all ages).
Ranveer Singh’s Simmba has been running for six weeks now. The film is still doing well and has crossed 20 crore. The movie has received nothing but great review and has been termed as a complete entertainer. So in case you haven’t watched it go check it out!
