After what seems like an extremely long hiatus we are happy to be back with our weekly movies this Friday! This weekend we finally have something super fresh coming our way!

In fact there are two Pakistani movies after the early year releases in January. Also we have one Hollywood thriller which comes with mega expectations. Read on to find out more!

Laal Kabootar

This is one of its kind film for Pakistani cinema. The film is a crime thriller which has not been experimented before, in the revived cinema. The film will take us through the grim side of Karachi. The trailer has a raw and hardcore outlook, lets see what the film has to offer! The movie stars Mansha Pasha, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Ali Kazim and comes from debut director Kamal Khan. Watch out for this one!

Sherdil

Next up we have Mikaal Zulfiqar and Armeena Khan starrer air force film, Sherdil! The patrotic film is not only a tribute to our force but also comes on a special weekend. The film has also gained a lot of relevance since the increased tension between India and Pakistan. considering how well Parwaaz Hai Junoon did, we can expect a great reception from this one as well. The film’s trailer looks promising and the VFX a must watch. Check out this one this weekend!

US

Last but not the least, the makers of Oscar winning thriller Get Out are back with yet another thriller. This time the movie title is US and stars Lupita Nyongo’o in lead role. The film take us through the story of a family which is haunted by strange being who happen to be their dopplegangers but they are out to kill them . Now they must defend themselves and kill the aliens force to save themselves. So if you are in for a little horror with right amount of chills then this movie is it!
