This week there are three new releases hitting the cinemas. There are two Hollywood and Two Pakistani films hitting the theaters this weekend. Lets have a look at the film s coming to cinemas and also those which are carried over from previous weeks.

The live action version on 1994 Disney classic The Lion King is coming to cinemas finally! The film carries major nostalgia which will be a major reason many will flock to the cinemas this weekend. The film’s premiere was followed by bad reviews by leading publications and 59% rotten tomatoes,however we are not giving up on the film just yet, lets see what the movie has to offer. 2.Ready Steady No

Amna Ilyas is coming back on silver screen after Baaji but this time it is a romantic comedy Ready Steady No. The film is a hilarious take on the our society’s stance on marrying outside their caste. The film’s romantic track Dekho Dekho is very pleasant and lets see what the film has to offer.

3.Sirf Tum He Ho

Danish Taimoor and Mathira are coming together in Sangeeta’s directorial Sirf Tum Hee Ho. The film is a romantic drama and it is introducing a new face Ainee as the protagonist of the film.


Oscar winner Octavia Spencer stars in an intriguing film titled Ma.The film is a psychological thriller where Octavia plays a lonely woman who offers a bunch of teenage kids a place to hang out if they follow some rules. Soon her house starts becoming suffocating for the kids and the turn of events make it their worst nightmare.The film has scored 55% rotten tomato.

Spider Man Far From Home

Spider man far from home is doing great at the box office and the movie has great reviews and a massive 90 % rotten tomato. The film has received high praise and is certainly a treat for super hero fans. This film is the perfect post-avengers fix.

Toy Story 4

There is another movie which is a treat for children. The last installment of Toy Story franchise is running in cinemas. The film has received great reviews and is a must watch


Aladdin was released on Eid ul Fitr, and has attracted audiences to cinemas. The live action version of the animated Disney classic is being loved by fans, it is full of colors and has a beautiful cinematography.Naomi Scott is impressive as Jasmine as well. It is a must watch for adults and children both.

Pakistani film Baaji starring Meera, Amna Ilyas, Osman Khalid Butt, Mohsin Abbas Haider and Ali Kazmi is still running in cinemas. The film has been doing well at the box office.If you haven’t seen the flick go check it out this weekend!
