X-Men series is back with yet another movie which is a do over of X-Men The Last Stand. The movie is releasing a week late in Pakistan.It stars Sophie Turner, Jennifer Lawerence, Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy. The sci-fi flick has been directed by Simon Kinberg .
The film has not fared that well at American box office and the critics have not been kind with the film either. The film has received bad reviews with only 23 % Rotten Tomato. The Week That Was ….
Last week we had multiple Eid releases including two Pakistani feature films as well. The films opened to good box office numbers and are still showing cases.
Wrong No 2
Yasir Nawaz is back with yet another comedy film starring Neelum Muneer, Sami Khan, Danish Nawaz, Ahmed Hasan, Javed Sheikh, Sana Fakhar and Mahmood Aslam. The film has been met with mixed reviews where some suggesting it to be a good comedy and some being offended by the toilet humor. We suggest you go check it out yourself .
This Rom-Com promises a fun filled content to its audience with festive music .However, Mehwish Hayat starrer hasn’t met expectations . Zara Noor Abbas on the other hand has been applauded for her performance. The film is said to be doing well up until interval after which it goes downhill. If you are in the mood for a Rom-Com then check it out.
The live action version of the Disney classic was released late in Pakistan for sake of Eid. Even so the film has managed to do well at the box office. In midst of so many films, Aladdin was given less shows, even then it managed to rake in decent numbers at the box office. In fact this film is in the lead during week days. The film however will leave you with a colorful cinematic experience with beautiful songs yet an unconvincing narrative. Do check it out if you were a fan growing up!
