Amin Iqbal has been highly praised for his ongoing serial Deedan, which is a very powerful story and has been very well executed by the director. The creative director has gorgeously captured the scenes in Deedan, making it a cinematic treat. While his drama Deedan is currently airing on Aplus, his another project titled Dushman is in the works. The serial also stars Mohib Mirza as the lead hero. Whereas Madiha Imam will be accompanying him as the lead heroin.
We went to the sets of Dushman to chat with Mohib about the drama and asked him what the viewers can expect from this drama? The serial has the male lead in focus unlike most serials where the female protagonist dominates. This is the reason Mohib took on the project. He also mentioned how Amin Iqbal helps him get out of his comfort zone and challenges him to try very different avatars. He loves the fact that working with him is a learning process. He didn’t give us much about the story but he did say that it will be based on the guilt of a man following certain events in his life.
We also met with Madiha and asked her about her experience and character. She plays the role of a young girl namely Rubab who is very innocent yet very responsible owing to the circumstances around her. She will be seen single-handedly taking care of her house and her little brother as their mother has passed away. While her sister will be out working. She also mentioned that through this project she has learned how to completely rely on the director. This male oriented serial could be a breath of fresh air. Based on how well Deedan has turned out to be, we have high hopes for Dushman.
