Most dramas coming on air nowadays center around a love story, with its usual hurdles and misunderstanding till the two protagonist unite. In midst of such cliches audiences are always on the look out for some fresh stories.
Tuesday brings us just that. Do Bol’s story is yet in its development stage, yet it has captivated its audience. The story is a beautiful love story that brings Badar and Geeti together. While Badar was already in love with Geeti, She doesn’t feel the same way.
She loves Sameer, however due to unfortunate incidents they are unable unite. Instead her family mistakes Badar and Geeti to were planning to run away together. Resultantly, they are forced to marry each other.
Geeti is clearly not happy, and Badar’s financial conditions further worsens things. While Badar has been expressive about his feelings, Geeti has not shyed away from showing her resentment to this situation and especially Badar.
Despite that Badar’s spirits are high, he is hopeful and patient with her. The upcoming episode teaser showed that Geeti will for some reason be going back as she packs her bags, Badar inquires if she will be ever coming back.
We also see Geeti asking Badar whether he had fallen for her if she lived in the slums? He beautifully responds leaving Geeti speechless. The dialogues of the serial are beautiful and meaningful, and the tone of the drama is mellow.
The love story between the two is developing slowly and the beauty of a bond as strong and pure as marriage is coming in the forefront. We are hoping that this drama glorifies and stresses on the sanctity of marriage, unlike many others that take it very lightly and often degrade it.
The drama brought sibling relations and hunger for control in the centre. Nadia Khan plays an elder sister who raised her siblings as their parents passed away. IN her suit to raise them she turned out to be extremly controlling and possessive. Now that her brother and sisters are adults she has trouble letting go.
She is intrusive and bitter, leading to creating problems in their lives. Junaid Khan plays her brother who is highly influenced by her and does not like going against her. Slowly and gradually they are all learning to break free from their sister and she isn’t taking it all that well.
