Written by Saira Raza and directed by Shahid Shafaat, “Dil Moam Ka Diya” is an ARY serial casting Yasir Nawaz, Neelum Munir, Hira Mani and Imran Ashraf in the leading roles.

Azhar (Imran Ashraf) expresses his likeness for Tamkinat (Hira Mani) to his brother, Afzal (Yasir Nawaz) and asks him to talk to everyone about their marriage. When Afzal does so, he faces opposition from his sister, Salma (Erum Akhtar), his brother, Akmal and also from his wife, Ulfat (Neelum Muneer). The former two turn against it in fear of wedding another brother of theirs to an ill-mannered girl like Ulfat while the latter simply calls it a “bakwas” with a threat that she won’t tolerate any discussion on the topic. Salma and Akmal misunderstand the situation and think that it is Ulfat who has made the plan to bring her cousin along, while Ulfat’s views are completely contradictory. She opposes the relation thinking that Tamkinat is trying to have a competition with her and starts considering her own cousin her rival, trying every tactic to bring the discussion to an end, going to the extent of threatening to murder her expected child.

She badly insults Tamkinat who, to keep her self-respect intact, refuses to marry Azhar. In depression, Azhar starts showing a careless attitude towards office work and eventually encounters a bad road accident.

However, Afzal and Kausar (Zobi Majeed) side with their brother and ensure that they would wed him to Tamkinat even if they have to go against their elder sister and Ulfat. But they succeed in convincing Salma and in a gathering held in celebration of Azhar’s recovery, the engagement finally takes place with the consent of Ulfat’s parents.

The episode overall had one important thing to present i.e. Azhar and Tamkinat’s engagement but one which takes place after countless hurdles and interesting obstacles.

Since Ulfat is the only person who is unhappy with the relation, we are to see what other tactics she will come up with. Will she let the newly engaged couple hope for a successful matrimonial life or will she try her to best to break the engagement?
