Salman Khan’s Bharat is said to be a tale of a man and a nation together. The film bases on the events of partition as we saw in the teaser of Bharat. The film revolves around Bharat’s life who gets separated from his parents at a young age. We have seen a few glimpses of how Bharat is separated from his parents who go on to live in Pakistan while Bharat is left behind and is lost in India.
The sentimental tale will show us how the young boy manages a living and ultimately starts to seek his parents. We also know that Jackie Shroff will be essaying the role of his father while Tabu will be essaying either his Pakistani mother or his sister. His family will be Pakistani while Bharat will grow up to be an Indian by heart.
Tabu who plays a very important role in Bharat’s tale has been entirely omitted from Bharat’s trailer as she essays the role of a Pakistani. In addition no scene of Pakistan other than one glimpse of the Wagha Border can be seen in trailer while we know that Pakistan will remain a highly significant factor in the story as it will build the story up.
However, while we did get a lot of vibes of partition and could sense Pakistan’s angle in Bharat’s teaser, Bharat’s trailer entirely omitted everything related to Pakistan and in addition they entirely ommited Tabu’s character from the trailer as they do not wish to provoke the sentiments of Indians who may and may not like such an aspect of the film being included in the trailer at such a time.
