Daniel Craig’s latest Bond movie was announced recently and we were thrilled. The movie titled Bond 25 began shooting and during shoot the actor hurt his ankle. As a result the actor will have to undergo a minor surgery.
The franchise posted an update on Twitter informing fans about injury.
BOND 25 update: Daniel Craig will be undergoing minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica. Production will continue whilst Craig is rehabilitating for two weeks post-surgery. The film remains on track for the same release date in April 2020. pic.twitter.com/qJN0Sn4gEx
The yet to be titled film is being directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and also stars Rami Malek, Ana De Armas, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, Billy Magnussen, Dali Benssalah, Lea Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes. The movie is slated for release next year in April.
