“Balaa” is an ARY serial written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Badar Mehmood (the director of “Aisi Hai Tanhai”). “Balaa” stars Bilal Abbas Khan and Ushna Shah in the leading roles alongside Sajid Hassan, Ismat Zaidi, Asad Siddique, Samina Peerzada and many others.
So it turns out that Nigar (Ushna Shah) and her father (Sajid Hassan) were equally involved in plotting against Zeba (Ammara Chaudhry) and in this episode, they finally succeed in making her leave the house by planning the visit of Saba’s lover to their house in everyone’s absence and then creating a situation falsely depicting a bedroom scene being perpetrated by Zeba alongwith a lover. Junaid (Asad Siddiqui) is made to firmly believe that his wife is wrong and Zeba leaves the house, utterly grieved.
The other important and sad incident of the episode was the running away of Saba on the day of her wedding, which was something that did not make us cross with her because she had begged her mother not to do this, for she was never interested in Taimoor (Bilal Abbas Khan). This told us that forceful marriages without children’s consent can bring about destructions.
To be sympathized with is Taimoor’s family who were never told about Saba’s interest in someone else and uptil now, were made to believe that she is equally interested in the marriage.
On the whole, these two sad incidents took place in the episode, making us think what will happen now to poor Zeba, who was already an orphan and had nowhere to go. Now that Saba has run away from Taimoor, will Nigar be able to win Taimoor in marriage?
