The latest episode left us in a turmoil of emotions. We see how Nigar (Ushna Shah) is slowly planting the seed of discord in the house. She is slowly poisoning Taimur (Bilal Abbas ) against his own beloved mother (Samina Peerzada) and sisters(Mehar Bano and Mehwish Qureshi).

Batool shares her secret with Nigar, that a certain Dr. Humza is interested in her and they both want to get married to each other. In return, Nigar promises to help her get married to her love interest. Nigar advises Batool to go out with her boyfriend in the Cafe they always go to. Later, she asks Taimur to pick up a sandwich for her from the same place. Taimur catches Batool with Dr. Hamza and takes her home with him. He acts roughly with Batool and threatens her. Batool has easily fallen prey to Nigar’s tactics.

Here Samina Peerzada enters the scene and separates the two. Seeing how shaken Batool is, without her bag or dupatta she starts to rebuke Taimur. I would like to take a minute to appreciate how beautifully Shama defends her daughter and her honor. The powerful script is bound to give you goosebumps and the way Samina Peerzada delivers the dialogs.. ‘to mard bano mard, larki k kandhon per rakh k apni izzat mat banao k Zara si jhumbish hui aur shumla neechay gir gya, k larki ne idher udher dekha to bezzat hogya.’ I mean woah.. Did anyone else feel the temperature rise? Her speech will leave you feeling all the feels.

However, Taimur, obviously hurt that his mother chose her ‘traitor daughter’ over him, leaves the house promising that he’ll get Batool married to Junaid(Asad Siddique).

Now that we have all the details, can we talk about how much we all love to hate our ever jealous, cunning, and vengeful Nigar? All thanks to Ushna Shah for executing this role so perfectly. From plotting the worst revenge to being a ‘sweet’ wife. Ushna does it all with grace. Who knew she could limp so well?

Samina Peerzada with her years of experience absolutely slays this role. Her expressions and dialog delivery are marvelous. She stuns us, as a helpless mother caged by her vengeful daughter in law.

The handsome Bilal Abbas on the other hand, makes us feel all giddy with his loving behavior with wife and family. I don’t see anyone playing the role as well as Bilal Abbas does. Bravo!

The OST sung by Faiza Mujahid and Zohaib Hassan perfectly fits the drama. I don’t know if it’s psychological, but the composition of the song reminds me of Nigar. And I believe it fits her character.

Big Bang Entertainment has certainly created a masterpiece with this one. What do you think will happen next? Let us know in the comments below.
