Atif Aslam is one of the luckiest and undoubtedly talented superstar of the time. Starting his professional career in 2004 with his famous album ‘Jalpari‘ which was an instant hit and gave him a great hype and fame. Several songs from his debut album, such as: “Bheegi Yaadein“, “Ehsaas“, “Mahi Ve”, “Ankhon Sey” and the title track “Jal Pari” went on to become major hits and charted across countries in the subcontinent.
He got his first breakthrough in Bollywood when director Mahesh Bhatt called Atif to seek his consent to include “Woh Lamhey” in the soundtrack of his new motion picture, Zeher(2005). And again it was a mega hit and he became one of the famous star in India. Since then he moved forward to look what is best for his own career and started focusing on Bollywood songs and didn’t looked back to his soil which made him a star.
During his peak career many Pakistani makers tried to contact him for playback singing in their films but his attitude towards to Pakistani directors was not satisfactory and he didn’t cooperate as per sources. Team EPK also tried to contact Atif regarding this and got no response from him.
He should learn a lesson from Pakistani singer ‘Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’ who is more popular and experienced singer in the sub-continent. Even with the extreme fame he never showed such attitude toward his motherland and always considered Pakistan’s Industry at his first priority.
Dear Atif , all the Pakistani hearts are still proud to look at your success and consider you as the star of this soil. You should also look back and to the time when these fans and Industry made you a star and show them that no matter how far you may go ,will still remember your origin and the ladder which helped you to touch the sky.
