Marvel Universe has been one of the most intelligently crafted and hugely imaginative fictional universes which has given us heroic tales of good verses the evil. Marvel films have emotionally stirred us and the Avengers series has surely been an immense success.
As Avengers: Endgame approaches, we cant help but be sad as this is going to be the finale to our favorite superhero series. Stan Lee, the creative genius behind the universe has surly given us a masterpiece, which will always be remembered.
Avengers: Endgame is all set to hit the screens on 26th April. Marvel recently announced a Hindi Anthem for Marvel fans in India. The Anthem has been sang by none other than the Oscar winning singer AR Rahman. The anthem will be used in Hindi dubbed version of Avengers: Endgame.
The illustrious singer was surely a befitting choice for this challenging task. However the anthem is out and it is not very convincing. The anthem does not gel well on the Avengers. The film and the anthem appear to have two separate atmospheres and tones.
The anthem has been largely criticized and people have been suggesting that this is perhaps an April fool’s joke. The lyrics of the song read..
Ae Jawaan Sun Jara Itihaas Humaara Insaaf Na Hara, Insaaf Na Hara
Roke Na Rukenge Ab To Yara Roke Na Rukenge Ab To Yara
The anthem on the Avengers is a huge put off. In the very beginning , he says Rahe Na Rahe, Rahe Na Rahe Ye Duniya and we see Thanos snap whipping out half the population. The lyrics try hard to fit on the theme of the story however it still fails.
The lines “Roke Na Rukenge Ab To Yara reminds us of Avengers: Endgame’s tagline “Whatever it takes”. The song has strong lyrics and yet it is not stirring. It does not evoke our emotions. Even though it has loud beats, the anthem fails to energize us or set the mood for what is to come in the Avengers. It simply does not suit on the Avengers. It fails to compliment their emotions and the settings.
