Angelina Jolie is coming back with her horns and gigantic wings and we are super excited!
It was recently revealed that a sequel of the Disney super hit film Maleficent is in the works! Maleficent took a spin at the classic “Sleeping Beauty” by giving it to a darker angle. The sequel was described in the following word when production of the film initially began!
A fantasy adventure that picks up several years after Maleficent, in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora, Maleficent II continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen, as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.
The makers have now released a poster of the film. While it was previously being titled Maleficent II, the poster reveal has a new and improve title for us and it so much better!

Maleficent Mistress of Evil ‘s Jolie looks absolutely regale in the poster, that is partially showing her face. While the wings and horns can’t be missed its her eyes and the red lipstick that captivates us the most!
The poster has come with another surprise. The film was originally set to release in 2020, however now the film is coming rather earlier! We will get to see the sequel this year on October 18!

Returning for the movie are Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora as well as Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. The sequel will be introducing new characters as well played by Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Ed Skrein.

With Dumbo releasing on 29 March, Disney already had a lot of films lined up for the year, and Maleficent The Mistress of Evil is the latest addition! If you ask us the more the merrier!
