The Biggest Film Of The Year, The Legend Of Maula Jatt To Be Released By Geo Films
“Parents might not find the film suitable for their kids because of the graphic nature of few scenes so I would strictly advise against bringing children to cinema. I would advise the faint-hearted and big babies to stay at home,” he told Express Tribune.
Bilal Lashari’s statement is quite intriguing. It appears the director is trying to create more buzz of the film with such amusing details. However, Bilal Lashari has himself put a restriction on the audience of the film. People who have awaited the film religiously are all likely to flock to cinemas upon its opening. However it is pertinent to note that a large section of the cinema going audience consists of families! Bilal Lashari has warned against bringing children and if this happens, the film loses about 20-30 % of its audience! A large section of the cine-goers consists of children who are under 18.
We are certain that the director has only said this for creating the buzz of his film where as the film’s content is not as gruesome. However, if Bilal Lashari is serious about his statement, then we worry this could possibly harm the film’s business. Nevertheless, The Legend of Maula Jatt still has the potential to take an earth shattering start.
