Affan Waheed spills the beans on Daag, Saheefa Jabbar & Saboor Aly

The drama was previously being titled Daag however the final title is in fact Bhool. The teasers of the serial are out and it looks like the story will take off when Saheefa’s character will run away from a forced wedding. What will be the events that follow will be interesting to watch.

Saheefa and Affan will be university sweet hearts and it appears that she will run away to marry him. Her family ashamed of her decision will declare her dead after committing suicide. Saboor on the other hand will play their daughter.

The second teaser shows these two walk into Affan’s house where his mother played by Uzma Gillani finds out that they have gotten married. After the revelation she slaps Saheefa. Even though the decision has been taken by both, it is her who is subjected to anguish only. This highlights the double standards of our society that punishes only the girl.

“I am playing a young to old role for the first time. So the first 7-8 episodes will be my young period with Saheefa Jabbar. We will be university students. We will gradually like each other and get married. We also have a class disparity between us.
