1. Ashar in Humsafar.
His romantic character Ashar came across as a dreamy, reserved and a serious character who romanced the shy Khirad while giving us butterflies in our stomachs. While Mahira Khan complimented the actor equally, Fawad Khan as Ashar became a character girls largely gushed over. The duo was an instant favorite.

The drama also had beautiful dialogues and the characters’ apt acting skills made the drama all the more endearing!

2. Zaroon in Zindagi Gulzar Hai
Zindagi Gulzar Hai had the pairing of Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed. Its was an adorable story of how fights turn into love and the duo marries. The two come from completely different families and yet find love. Fawad Khan once again won our hearts romancing onscreen. The dreamy heartthrob played a fun loving and romantic character who was a charmer with the ladies.

3. A Rajput prince in Kobsoorat
Fawad Khan was also seen romancing the Bollywood diva, Sonaam Kapoor in his Bollywood debut, Kobsoorat. The actor played a price who falls in love with a hopelessly romantic physiotherapist. Although its the girl who teaches him a thing or two about love, but Fawad Khan absolutely stunned as a romantic companion.

4. Hassan in Dastan
The play Dastan was an adaption of Razia Butt’s novel. Based on the heartrending incidents of partition, the tragic drama did not see a happy ending. However Sanam Baloch and Fawad Khan gave very powerful performances. Their romance in particular was heartwarming. Sanam played a naive and simple girl who feared love whereas Hassan’s character was more bold and romantic. The character is deeply in love with Bano and is possessive of her.

The tragic drama does not end the way one would have wished it to end however Hassan proves to be a true lover as he does not give up on her till the very end.

5. Asghar in Akbari and Asghari
The play Akbari and Asghari once again had Fawad Khan and Sanam Baloch. Fawad Khan played an unconventional character of a villger in the drama who plans to marry Akbari (Sanam Baloch) only because he wants her father’s money, not knowing that they do not actually have money. The comedy play unties the lovers as they end up marrying out of circumstances but fall in love with each other later. Fawad Khan and Sanam Baloch once again depicted fitting onscreen chemistry and Fawad Khan played an unconventional romantic hero effortlessly.
