Hepatitis is a viral disease which spreads due to direct blood-to-blood interaction of infected people. Hepatitis is further categorized in different classes like hepatitis A, B and hepatitis C. World’s Hepatitis Day is conducted on 28th July every year to spread awareness among the people. World Hepatitis Day is organized by world hepatitis alliance in association with World Health Organization. Today on 28th July the whole world is coming together to smudge World Hepatitis Day 2012 and promote awareness of viral hepatitis. Hepatitis A is liver ailment which is spreading due to hepatitis A virus. This virus mostly spreads if an unvaccinated person eats or drinks the food and water contaminated by its victim. This disease is mainly consequence of lack of mineral water, insufficient sanitation, and inadequate personal hygiene. Hepatitis A spreads infrequently and in epidemic worldwide, with a propensity periodic recurrences. There are nearly 1.4 million cases of Hepatitis A worldwide every year.
There is no exact cure for hepatitis A; hence proper precautionary measures can prevent from hepatitis A. Better sanitation, hygienic food, and proper immunization are the most operative ways to fight hepatitis A.
Hepatitis B is a viral disease that bouts the liver of a person and can cause both severe and long-lasting disease. This is one of the chief universal health problems and the most chronic kind of viral hepatitis. This virus is 50-100 times extra transmittable than HIV. Hepatitis C does not need treatment each time. There are 6 genotypes of hepatitis C which may respond contrarily to action.Tattoos, piercing and acupuncture executed with unhygienic equipment should also be evaded.
