Many of these Rajasthan forts and palaces look rugged and rough from their exteriors but the interiors take you to an altogether different world. Rajasthan is rich in forts, places as well as many historical and visiting places.
One of the most important is Taragarh Fort-Kota.
It is located at a distance of around 39 km off Kota; Taragarh Fort was the home of a major princely state of Rajputs. It is a very big and splendid fort which is built in the year 1354. It has a big main gateway. The gateway of the Taragarh Fort is topped by rampant elephants. The elephant consists on huge reservoirs carved out of solid rock and the Bhim Burj, the largest of the battlements, on which is mounted a famous cannon. It gives an excellent bird’s view of the town from the fort. This is another great attraction among tourists. It gives a pleasant mood to the visitors and makes them happy, pleasant for long time. This is also very informative contains a lot of historical views, which can increase your knowledge.
