salman to play a cop in veteran remake?

Looks like Bollywood super star Salman Khan is extremely fond of Korean films. He is currently busy with his upcoming film of Bharat opposite Katrina Kaif. The film is a remake of Korean film Ode to my Father. While he is busy wrapping up his film, news outlets are busy reporting about his upcoming movies. The latest scoop according to Mumbai Mirror is that Salman is also on board for another film, which co-incidentally is also a remake of a 2015 Korean film Veteran.

The film is about a cop who goes up against a young millionaire who is involved with a mafia. The rights of the film have been bough by Salman’s brother in law Atul Agnihotri’s company, Reel Life Production. Salman will be seen in the lead role. Although there hasn’t been any official confirmation about this news, the role is right up his alley. So it will be interesting to see him in this avatar.

The star is said to get started on his next film Dabangg 3 after he wraps up Bharat. While no official confirmation has been made as to when the shoot will begin speculations are that it will be beginning in the coming month or so. Salman will be playing a cop Chulbul Panday in Dabangg 3 as well, which makes one wonder if this remake is in fact being used as script of the third installment instead of a completely separate movie. We will have to wait for confirmation to put an end to all the speculation.
