Music City Marathon and Nashville Weather:According to reports the Music City Marathon has announced a new plan with minor changes due to severe weather forecast on Saturday. A report says that officials will limit the race to 4 1/2 hours but it’s not confirmed because the plan could change on Saturday due to actual weather conditions. If the weather remains suitable then the original schedule would be followed.

According to the National Weather Service forecast on Saturday Middle Tennessee would face a severe thunderstorms. There are also chances of hailing and tornados. After such forecasts Music City Marathon official announced the plan because they don’t want to take any risk. This revised plan is an effort to protect everyone involved with the race.

Weather service’s Bobby Boyd said,
Another report says if the race would be limited to 4.5 hours then any runner who runs 10 minutes, 20 seconds per mile, would be directed to complete the half marathon course at the 11.2-mile mark.

Every year a great number of participants gathered there to participate or watch the Country Music Marathon. During the race to cheer up the runners several bands and 30 high school cheer squads line the route at what’s known as ‘Music City’.
