There was some element of excited around the comical Fraud Saiyaan, as the film starred an actor known for his roles in comedy films. However the film didn’t turn out well at the box office during its opening week.

The film was released in 18 Jan and couldn’t show much growth over the Weekend. Saturday and Sunday numbers remained similar to Friday numbers. The Arshad Warsi and Sara Loren starrer comedy film had actually opened with good numbers on day one.

Day One numbers were good considering the film’s promos and face value of the film. However the film couldn’t grow over the Weekend. Owing to good first day number, the overall weekend numbers turned out well.

Film had started with 22 lacs approx on Friday and weekend has wrapped at 68 lacs approx. This is a decent total overall but if the film has managed to see growth the number would have gone higher.
